Kukee Jewellery Haul/Review

Hello my lovelys,
So, I recently made an order for some amazing jewellery from a website called kukee.co.uk! I am so happy with the jewellery that I thought I'd do a mini haul and little review on the products I received.

First of all they came beautifully packaged in pink tissue paper and each item had its own little bag with a sticker on. As soon as I saw it I was so happy with the way they jewellery was presented compared to other online stores where they just put it in a giffy bag and send it!

Moving on to the items I purchased..

Cutout Moon Necklace - £2.00
Leopard Necklace - £1.00
2 Antique Silver above the knuckle Rings - £2.50
Dangly Moon Ear Cuff - £1.50
Peruvian Friendship Bracelet - £0.75

Every item that I bought was so cheap yet such good quality! I honestly recommend this seller to anyone, along with the cheap prices the delivery was so fast it was unbelievable. I ordered the jewellery on the 12th Feb and recieved them today (14th Feb). I definitely recommend that you all go and check them out as they have such cute but edgy jewellery for sale and some of its even handmade!

H&M Home Haul

01. Unscented Candle - £1

02. Storage Pots - £3.99 & £2.99

03. Bow Hooks - £3.99

04. Tea Light Holder - £1

So recently I went on a massive spend up in the Stratford Westfield and I thought I'd show you's what I bought from the home section in H&M. First of all, since when did H&M start selling home stuff?!

01: Unscented Candle - £1
When I saw this candle I just fell in love with it! Although, it is unscented which I'm gutted about but I think it'll just make such a cute decoration and look really cute in my room. There's also something very Chanel-esque about it, don't you think? I don't know. I just think it looks really classy and feminine with an edge and for £1 you can't really go wrong can you!?

02. Storage Pots - £3.99 (bigger one) & £2.99 (smaller one)
For ages and ages I had been on the hunt for some sort of cute pots where I could store my makeup brushes and I was watching a beauty gurus haul on youtube when she mentioned that H&M home were selling nice pots that were perfect for storing makeup brushes so, I went along and came across these 2 lovely black pots which are perfect for my brushes! I'd definitely recommend popping along to your local H&M and checking them out and they have them in so many different colours as well!

03. Bow Hooks - £3.99
Okay, so the main reason why I bought these hooks was too hang my necklaces on them as I used to have other hooks where I kept my jewellery but after re-decorating my room they don't match anymore and I can't paint over them so when I saw these I had to get them! They're just really simple and cute and will add a nice touch to my room, also, they had so many other colours so if you're looking for any hooks get yourself down there!

04. Tea Light Holder - £1
This was kind of a random purchase and I wasn't really looking for it/needed it but I saw the £1 sticker and thought why not? I've been trying to get my room to feel really cosy and homely so I thought I might as well by this and I'm sure I'll find some sort of use for it even if it's not used for a candle!

How was your weekend?

High quality skincare without the high price tag!

Hey guys,
So I'm back with an amazing find for all of yous and it's something I can't recommend highly enough!
Right, so as it's already February (I'm still in shock at how fast January went) I spent the whole of January looking for the perfect skincare routine and products for the new year.. as stupid as it was I decided to look only at higher end products as you know what they say the higher the price the higher the quality?!? Well anyway, I honestly tried at least 5 different moisturisers and toners and creams and oils etc and none of them seemed to be working for me! I finally gave up looking at  the higher end products when I looked at my bank statement and realised I went a little too overboard.
None of the products I purchased were working for me at all and that's when I decided to resort back to the good old boots and superdrug  (drugstores for those of you who aren't British) and to my surprise I have honestly found the best skincare combination ever!
Garnier Soft Essentials Comforting Cleansing Lotion & Garnier Soft Essentials Comforting Toner - (For dry skin)

I've been using this combo for almost a month now and I can honestly say that I will definitely be using this for many more months too come! I use the cleansing lotion with the Boots Extra Large Baby Cotton Wool Pads and I only have to use one pad it it takes off all of my makeup. It's so moisturising and hydrating and especially as I have dry skin I was worried that it might suck all the moisture out of my skin but my skin has definitely been looking more healthy and has a bit more colour in it! I then use the toner to take off the remains of the makeup and just soften but skin up a little bit.

If you're looking for an everyday skincare routine that's as less hassle as it can be then I definitely recommend having a look at the Garnier skin naturals range.

Love always, Hannah x

Where have I been?

Hey guys, sorry i've been so MIA recently I've just had loads of stuff to do like college applications and interviews and I haven't really had the time to sit down and blog. So, lately I have been working non-stop and the only day I've had off in the past two weeks is Monday! At least eventually the hard work will pay off especially when pay day is due! Anyway, I'm not sure what posts to do/make and I've just been lacking motivation recently however  I am going on a major spend up next Thursday so I might buy some drugstore products and do a comparison post or drugstore vs high-end post? Let me know what you think and also if you have any ideas of posts you would like to see.

Love always,

xxx

Beauty and Accessories Haul

Hey hey, I haven't done a haul as of yet so I decided seeing as I recently got paid and have purchased an awful lot of stuff that I'd do one. This is quite a big haul however, it could have been even bigger but I decide to split what I purchased into two sections; beauty and accessories and clothes. So, if you do want to see a post on the clothes that I've recently purchased then just tell me in the comments!

01. Topshop "Spice Girls" Heeled Wedges - £25
I am absolutely in love with these shoes! Ahhhhh I can't even express my love for them. I've had my eye on them ever since they first came into Topshop and although they're  cheaply priced for a good quality pair of shoes I wasn't prepared to pay £65 and so I decided not to buy them however I went shopping on Christmas eve and found that they were reduced to only £25 and I had to have them!

02. MUA Undressed Pallet - £4
I finally gave in to all of the comment about how good a dupe this MUA pallet is and after searching for it for so long I finally found a store where they had it in stock and I thought you can't really go wrong with 12 eye shadows for £4. They're all mostly pigmented and definitely worth investing in!

03. Blue, Black and Cream Clutch Bag - £3.50
I bought this bag a couple of weeks back when I was looking for a bag that was black and blue for new years eve. So, after looking around for a while I finally came across this clutch in Peacocks which normally is a shop that I'll walk straight past and never usually think about going in however, I found this clutch and fell in love with it and for £3.50 there's no cons really.

04. MUA Artiste Collection Pallet - £6
I was in superdrug last week and was looking at the ever so cheap MUA collection that's much raved about all over blogs and youtube when I decided to pick up the undressed pallet and two blushes. When I went up to the counter the lady told me that because I'd spent £6 on MUA products I was entitled to this free pallet, I was completely over the moon and can't stop using the pallet! The eye shadows resemble some of nars' mixed shimmer shades and the highlight its amazing!

05. St Tropez Instant Glow Spray - £7
I've been lusting over St Tropez products ever since they blew up over youtube and blogs 2 years ago but I never could bring myself to spending up to £30 on fake tan. However, I was in superdrug looking for a new tanning product and came across this instant spray on tan for only £7. I've never picked up something so quickly, I couldn't believe it and when I got home to try it I fell in love with it. It's honestly an amazing fake tan and I recommend it to anyone.

06. MUA Blush Shades 2 & 5 - £1 each
I popped into my local superdrug and decided to pick up 2 of the MUA cream blushes seeing as they are so pigmented and the colours are lovely. I'm hoping to have a collection of all them soon and I really want them to bring out more shades because they're seriously such a nice texture and an amazing blush for only £1!

07. Soap and Glory Fake Away Body Polish - £7
I've been needing to buy this body polish for ages as I did have the mini travel size one and used it all within a week. It left my skin so soft and smooth and I don't know why I waited so long to purchase the full size?! I also mainly bought it so that I had a gentle exfoliater for when I tried out my St Tropez tan.

08. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - £3.69
Yep, so once again I'm the last person in the world to jump onto this concealer bandwagon! After using this concealer for about 2 weeks now I can honestly say this is definitely one of the best concealers I've ever used. I'm definitely going to keep re-buying it once it's run out! Also, I recommend buying it from boots as at the moment it's only £3.69!

09. Natural Collection Moisture Shine Rose Petal - £1.99
I've owned almost all of the natural collection lipsticks apart from the ever so famous Rose Petal and I've got to say I'm not very fond of it. I think that for my skin tone the lipstick just appears to look like a concealer and doesn't really flatter me so I don't think I will be buying it again however, I've seen reviews of the lipstick and it looks amazing on most people.

10. Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Lotion - £2.99
I love this body lotion so much and will always keep re-buying it. It's so rich and moisturising and if you use it everyday your skin definitely wont be dry anytime soon. It's also really good if you've come back from holiday and have a natural tan as the molecules help to lock in the tan and make it last up to 2 times longer!

11. Ted Baker Makeup Bag Christmas Edition - £15
I've been needing to buy a new makeup bag for a while now and I wanted one that was of a good quality and also quite spacious. So I was looking in the after christmas sales and discovered that Ted Baker had brought out a range of christmas bags and makeup bags and decided to splurge £15 on the little cosmetic bag, hopefully it'll last me the year?

12. TOWIE Trio of Lipsticks - £1 for all of them
Ok little disclaimer, I am from Essex myself however I don't enjoy the show as it's seriously the absolute opposite to what life in Brentwood actually is like. Right, so I was in Primark picking up a couple of essentials when I was looking at all of the branded makeup and body products they've started selling when I came across these 3 lipsticks and taking no notice of what make they were I decided to buy them purely because of the vibrant colours that will be perfect for summer! They're honestly one of the best lipsticks I've ever bought, the texture is lovely and the colour stays for ages. If you can find them in your local Primark I would absolutely not hesitate to pick them up!

13. Primark Fake Tan Mitt - £2
I needed a new mitt so whilst I was in Primark I quickly picked up this standard fake tan application mitt. I don't have much to say about it as it's pretty standard and no different to the others I have used!

14. Primark Sultry Lashes - £1 each
Every time I go into Primark I can't help myself from buying these lashes. They are actually amazing! They're my everyday lashes and even in the evening when I'm going out I layer 2 or 3 pairs to give a fuller look. You really can't go wrong with these lashes, they're such a nice style and for only £1 they're a fifth of what you would normally pay for 1 pair!

15. Forever 21 Gold Collar Necklace - £3.90
For those of you that don't know I work in Forever 21 and I'm constantly spotting style steals that are at bargain prices! I was so happy when I found this little steal, I've been searching for a necklace that resembles a collar necklace but doesn't surround your whole neck for so long and when I saw this I had to have it. £3.90 is such a cheap price for a good quality necklace and this has definitely become a staple for my daily outfits.

16. Primark Long Cross Chain - £2
The photo says it all really. This necklace is a staple peace for this transitioning season from winter to spring and for only £2 you have to pick it up! This necklace will definitely add a bit of spice to any plain outfit and every girl should definitely own a long chain necklace.

17. Forever 21 Bowler Hat - £10
Absolutely love love love love love this hat! It's such a simple hat but could make a massive difference to your outfit. I've been looking for the traditional bowler hat style for ages after only finding fedora style hats I was disappointed until my store got a new delivery and I snapped the hat up so fast. This is also a main staple in my wardrobe and every girl should own one!

Much love Hannah x

Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

It's that time again to say "wow, last year flew by" or the ever so cliche "new year, new me". Yes, you guessed it.. it's a whole new year! Goodbye 2012, hello 2013. Sounds weird doesn't it? But, I guess we say that every year, right?

Seeing as it's a new year, I thought I'd make a blog post talking about new years resolutions. Is there any point in making new years resolutions because lets be honest we never really stick to them do we? Like many people I'm one of those people who come up with a list of 15 resolutions and only ever stick to 1 of them, if that.

One of my main goals for this year:

Be more social

Hahahaha yeah like that's ever going to happen. I honestly don't even have a social life anymore. It's not because I don't have anyone to go out with it's just that I never actually have the effort to go out. Yeah, maybe one of my resolutions should be to become more active? Anyway, what with work and everything I literally lack the motivation to move from my bed.

One of my resolutions has to be to read even more than I did last year, last year I'd say I read about 12 books which is a ridiculously low amount.. this year I plan on reading 50, ok yeah that might be a bit of a high aim but at least I've got something to work towards.

I also really need to re-vamp my blog properly and start to do youtube videos but, idk I'm still a bit undecided about whether or not to actually make youtube videos for several reasons, I might just start by doing vlogs? Who knows!

Ok so my resolutions summed up:

  • Upload at least 1 blog post a week
  • Re-vamp my blog
  • Buy a flip camera
  • Start vlogging
  • Read 50 books
  • Socialise
  • Stick to writing a diary
  • Exercise more

What's your new years resolutions/goals/targets? Let me know in the comments below!

*not my photo*

All I've got to say is Adios 2012, and 2013.. please be good to me.

BIRMINGHAM CLOTHES SHOW 2012

Hey guys,
So yes, once again I have been lacking on the posts but I guarantee that more will be up in the new year as I'm getting a new camera and hopefully all of my posts will be better quality. I'm also planning on re-naming my blog but I don't have many ideas yet?! and I'm going to be posting more OOTD's and just fashion related posts.

Okay, so moving on.. Last Tuesday (11th Dec) I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Clothes Show Live that's held in the NEC. It was amazing! Seriously, I can't express how fun it was and you really need to go their for yourself. I highly recommend it. For those of you who don't know much about what it actually is well, it's basically one massive market. There are literally thousands of different stalls selling everything from clothes to makeup to hair products. Also, big branded names are there as well such as Barry M, Models Own, OPI, Juicy Couture etc and all of their products have major discounts which, if you're into your bargains and cheap products then I would absolutely recommend visiting the clothes show next year. During the day you also get to go to the fashion show. It was so beautiful and the outfits that were worn are all available to purchase on the website! The fashion show was so much fun and wasn't too serious so all of the models had a little bit of a laugh and even at the end they played "gangnam style" and all of the models were dancing. Overall, it was a genuinely nice day and I can't wait to go back next year!

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos from the fashion show as I thought I had my camera on charge overnight but the switch was turned off so when I went to use my camera it was completely dead :( however, I have decided to do a little haul of the stuff that I purchased and stuff that came free!

This is my ticket and yes! it was only £20, soooooo sooo cheap for the amazing day out that I had. The reason why it was only £20 is because I went with my college so we all got a discount, if you're looking to buy a ticket for next year then they're around roughly £25 - £35 which is still reasonably cheap!

I got 4 Models Own nail polishes for just £10! I was over the moon when I found out that I could get them so cheap. The 4 colours that I got were Juicy Jules, Dream Stream and Concrete Mixer.

I then bought a really cute vintage jumper which I am absolutely in love with! It will definitely be something really easy and simple to throw on with a pair of jeans!

£5

I also bought a company and cosmo goody back which was only £2! I know unbelievably cheap right? It came with such good goodies as well. So, all for £2 I received a copy of cosmo and company, jelly beans, Kleenex shine absorbing sheets, Rimmel traffic stopping eyeshadow trio and a sample of Aveeno skin relief Shea butter. Bargain!

I finally bought a Barry M goodie bag which absolutely has to be the steal of the day! When I tell you how much I got 13 pieces of makeup for you won't believe me.. £5 Yep, absolutely crazy! I got 3 retro nail polishes in the shades retro 1 pink, np 244 and retro 4 coral. All of them are utterly gorgeous! I also got 3 kohl eyeliners in shades 22,  21 and 13, loose body glitter in shade 1, limited edition lip gloss, gold glitter stick, 2 dazzle dusts in shades 89 and 82, emerald green lengthening mascara and a glitter pigment in beige.

Overall, I had an amazing time and definitely recommend that you go! I will definitely be going again next year.

Hugs and kisses, Hannah xx

SORRY :-(

Hey guys!
Right, so I know that I have been completely ignoring this blog. I don't even know why but, it's been neglected by me so yeah. I've just been so stressed lately with so much homework and coursework because just in case you didn't know I started Sixth Form in September and I changed schools so I've just been trying to sort myself out and try and settle in. I know, I know, it's no excuse for not positing regularly but it's hard so please bear with me.

I am definitely definitely definitely going to be uploading more regularly now that I have sorted out most of my coursework and I'm on track although I have a few deadlines due before Christmas so I might not post a lot but I definitely will be updating!

Nothing interesting has really happened recently so I don't have much to add but I am so so so so so excited for Christmas! Christmas is literally the best time of year, and I'm so excited to buy all my Christmas decorations for my room and maybe even show you guys how I've decided to decorate my room this year?

Hope you're all well, and I will be back very shortly with a new blog post some time this week.

Much love xxxx
